Panacur C (Fenbendazole) is a parasiticide commonly used as a canine dewormer to help prevent and eradicate hookworms, roundworms, tapeworms, and whipworms in dogs. Panacur can also fight respiratory tract infections. Safe for use in puppies 6 weeks or older and adult dogs.
Do not deworm a dog or puppy that is sick. Consult your veterinarian for diagnosis of the illness. Fenbendazole is FDA approved for use in dogs only.
Fenbendazole Granules 22.2% (222 mg/g)
The daily dose for Panacur C is 50 mg/kg (22.7 mg/lb) of body weight. Please refer to the dosing chart below for the appropriate dosage. The dog must be treated with the correct daily dose for 3 days in a row.
• Your dog should undergo the required lab tests by a veterinarian to correctly diagnose parasitism. Panacur C only treats Taenia species of tapeworms.
• Always weigh your dog prior to starting the treatment to ensure you are using the correct dosage. If your dog's weight is in between the suggested dosage guidelines you should use the next higher dose. (You should treat a 15 lbs dog with a 2 gram packet).
• Mix Panacur C with food to ensure full consumption.
• Repeat the daily dose for three consecutive days.
Store at controlled room temperature 68-77°F (20-25°C).
